To clarify, it has strong VW roots, owing to the folks who started the event, but it was never limited on who could attend.
Last year there were literally hundreds of non-VW vehicles, everything from skoolies to converted Euro ambulances to truck camper and vans of every stripe.
It's part music festival, part "#vanlife" gathering. There's generally a family area and a "sans family" area. I was told, "if you're not into drum circles, park up that way" when I entered.
Lots of music, beer, and wine. Packs of feral children roving the lanes. Bonfires and live music every night.
