ARB Fridge question

stupid question time, got an arb fridge minus ac power cable

want to plug it in inside my house - do i need a special cord - or will any power cable work? (ie a normal computer plug fits into the fridge and it functions but i obviously do not want to harm either the fridge or my home)

Gauge matters little at half an amp, long as decent quality not damaged
That's the fact, jack. We talking about less than amp for my Engel. Which must be mostly lost in the inverter since the compressor itself on mine draws around 2 amps at 12 VDC, so that 0.7 A on 120 VAC spec means 60 of 84 watts are consumed on AC. I came across a light gauge IEC cord that is about 12 feet long and that's been perfect having the extra length that when rolled and stowed doesn't take up a ton of room.
