With our most recent adventure with MF'S. We were trying to explore less traveled routes into the FJ area because of the increase in closures. I just stumbled across this and the closures may be sooner than we all think, and I bet that Table Mesa area is next on the block.

OK here's a good short explanation of what's going on here...
Although these trail closures are typical trails that *most of our rigs could not attempt, IMO it is the beginning stages of the FJ area closure due to graffiti, trash, destroying historical aspects, destroying wildlife habitat, etc etc.
There is a guy in the Tucson office of land management who is doing his damnedest to get everything shut down. He is using tactics that some see as questionable and some are under review. The situation appears to be following paths that have been successful in other states for getting vehicle recreation areas closed.
