Arkonik 1990 Land Rover Defender 110

This 1990 Land Rover Defender 110 is a left-hand-drive example that was refurbished and modified by Arkonik of Somerset, England, in 2018. The truck is finished in Santorini Black over black Nappa leather upholstery, and power is provided by a 3.5-liter V8. Equipment includes a dual-range transfer case, 18″ Kahn Design wheels, a Puma-style hood, a Warn winch, a snorkel, a roof rack, LED lighting, air conditioning, heated front seats, and an Alpine touchscreen stereo. Following its importation to the US, the truck was converted to a four-speed automatic transmission, and it was acquired in Feb 2023 by its current owner. This Defender 110 is now offered by the seller on behalf of its owner with a Land Rover certificate, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Montana title in the owner’s name. The current owner purchased this last year and after putting some money into it has purchased another vehicle and is looking to clear out some garage space.

The body was disassembled before it was refinished in Santorini Black during the Arkonik build. A First Four front bumper with integrated daytime running lamps and a Warn Zeon 12-S winch has been installed along with a Front Runner roof rack and rear ladder, a Puma-style hood, a black KBX grille, KBX Hi-Force fender-top intake vents, checker-plate trim, Fire & Ice-style side steps, a bull bar, a NAS-specification rear step, LED lighting, xenon headlights, a Safari snorkel, and Optimill-UK door hinges. A scratch on the wheel-arch flare is shown up close in the gallery below.

Black 18″ Kahn Design 1983 wheels wear 265/65 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 tires. A full-size matching spare is mounted under a cover on the swing-out rear carrier. The truck is equipped with power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes, and Arkonik Cellular Dynamic suspension has been installed along with a replacement steering rack.

The cabin features heated Elite first- and second-row bucket seats upholstered in black Nappa leather and accompanied by a matching dashboard, door panels, and checker-plate floorboards. The floors are said to have been coated in RAPTOR material during the refurbishment, LED lighting was installed along with a sueded headliner, and the air-conditioning system was overhauled by Arkonik. The truck is also equipped with an Alpine touchscreen stereo, alloy shift knobs, a sunroof, and a center console. The rear cargo area features inward-facing bench seats with lap belts.

An Evander 15″ wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and engine temperature. The six-digit odometer shows 4k miles. The odometer is said to have been reset at the time of the Arkonik build, and total mileage is unknown. The 3.5-liter V8 was reconditioned and installed by Arkonik and features an open-element air filter and an MSD electronic ignition. The bulkhead is also said to have been replaced, and the seller states that the fluids were replaced in February 2022. The vehicle was originally assembled by Arkonik with a five-speed manual gearbox, and following importation to the US it was converted to a four-speed automatic. The frame was reportedly etched and coated in RAPTOR material by Arkonik. The truck carries Arkonik build number 453751, and additional identification numbers are displayed in the gallery below.
