They won't take "torsional" stress---thats why the Lock&Roll/max coupler were integrated--they'll both take 360° twist, without damage-

I pull a Coleman Colorado with my TJ. I never worry about the hitch. Clearance was first thing I addressed for off road camping. Have fun on your trip!

Thanks I'm going to spring the Trailer over this weekend although I will only be adding offroad trailer tires to it.
