Bantam T3C- CL Find

Observer
I've been dreaming of making my own expo trailer for the last couple years. I saw a potential candidate, a Bantam T3C, pop up on craigslist near me for $220 and picked it up Saturday. I put it on it's side and towed it with my friend's utility trailer where it still sits in my garage.

I was having second thoughts and kicking myself for buying it but seeing the miracles some of you have done with these has strengthened my resolve. In all, the sides, tailgate and front of the tub are good but the floor is too far gone I think. The frame and underside looks really good to me, though. I noticed the previous owner did a lot of nasty welding, though, so I will probably replace the tongue bar and redo the hinges on the back and replace the floor with something. Also, I noticed they replaced the foot with some really beefy steel plate- I may leave this in.

This will be a very slow thread since I work full time, have 2 young kids, and going to school part time but I am really excited to take it apart and start cleaning it up and repainting. I think a wire wheel should remove most of the surface rust although the first order of business is to get it off the trailer once I can take my friend's utility trailer back to his house.
