Bantam trailer (moab, ut)

I had that flat fender for 30 years. Then bergerburners CJ-7 for 10 years. I was mainly wanting a Jeep that I could drive a couple hundred miles on the hiway and not feel like I just did the Golden Spike. I've flat towed for 30 + years but most all of the wheeling I'll ever want to do now is no more than a days drive from Moab. And the bonus is I didn't compromise my challenging trails .... of course with a little "tuning up"....

It's always good to buy Guy's stuff, he goes first class. That was my deal too, I'll be driving out to Escalante in the LJ.

That is exactly what my father said to me one year. I have a CJ7 and went wheeling with Chuck Wells, and he let me drive his TJ. Dad said "It's like cheating isn't it!" Someday I will be able to up it to a TJ.
Brian

Brian, the guy I bought my Jeep from let me drive his JK he had for a while and he's the one that told me that. It is cheating, but I like it in my old age. :sombrero:

He did good things to it, however, I replaced ALL the front and rear suspension, tires, transfer case (Rubicon 4:1) hydroboost brake system, upgraded the cooling fans (late model and all electric) just to mention some. What days will you be in Escalante?

I'm planning on the 10th through 17th, staying in those cabins down and across the
street from the RV park Guy and Tim are using.

You know, I am only 35, so not exactly old, but I still enjoy the comforts. I have a WJ and I love taking it out, but it just is not as built as the CJ, so such is life. During EJS I broke a hub on Kane creek (in the water), and still went all the way up the canyon and out in three wheel drive, only had to use the rear locker twice. No way I could even get my WJ on kane creek( Only a two inch lift)

Anyhow, the JK is great, but I am 6'5 and the roll bar cracks me in the back of the skull just sitting in it. (That REALLY annoys me because I am NOT all that tall) So no JK for me unless I can replace the roll bar straight away. TJ is the way to go for me, perhaps an LJ.

Yellowstone, very nice. I went six times, prior, and once while it was on frie (way back when) and I have not been back since, so I am really looking forward to the trip. Mt. Home AFB has trailers there, 26' for only 80 per night, so, that was a no brainer. We are going to spend the last week of August up there. Should be nice.

If you decide to drop your price on that trailer to some ridiculously low 300 or 400 let me know. Yeah, I know, wildly optimistic... :)

I've never even been close to Yellowstone so we're really looking forward to it... except for the crowds. We're spending 4 days there. Maybe another day in the Grand Teton N.P.

Well, it never hurts to ask regarding a ridiculously low and optimistic price. I've made some great buys doing just that. However, I just sold it about 15 min. ago.

6'5, that's never been a problem for me at 5'7, LJ is the way to go, the extra room is nice.
Marty, looking forward to wheeling with you, even if it's only for a few days.
