If Not Now When?
I noticed you sort of went with my design with the angled front part of the rack, not my idea but def a good one!

Love the Cherokee! I like the 8.8 great axle for our Jeeps. Hey did you swap in a HP 30 when you did your 3.73's?

Thanks Gaucho919! The 8.8 is a great swap and a heck of a difference all together. I wanted to swap in a HP dana30, but I couldn't get one in Northern Maine on my budget. Everywhere I checked wanted an arm and a leg and they were all high miles so I stuck with the LP. I know it is a lose in clearance and not as strong of gears. However have not had any problems so far (knock on wood*).

They are actually still really strong, I had one in my TJ on 35's. When I swapped it out for a HP 30 the gears still looked great. I always keep my eye out for HP 30's with factory 4.10's. Even have one with the factory 4.56 in storage if I ever decide to put 35's on the MJ. I wonder how your Cherokee would look with the Dodge magnum 17" steelies and JK Rubicon tires, I'm betting it would look great.

I agree with them still being pretty strong, and I was on the lookout for a hp with 4.10's. The downside to swapping to 3.73's was the carrier break. I would have rather put the money into a hp, but it all worked out in the end. And it is not like I am rocking any crazy tire set up at the moment, however steelies and a new set of tires would be pretty damn good looking :sombrero:

Well it has been a long time since I've updated this thread. The Cherokee is still going strong as usual, I am in the process of revamping it a bit since getting a new job and able to be in a shop again. Here are just a couple things.

Things were getting a bit rusty and crusty, so I decided it was time to remove, repaint, and do a cut and fold.

Next question, before I continue photos; how can I flip them so they are right side up?

Are you uploading them to photobucket, flickr, or anything like that? Or taking them straight off your phone?

Managed to get the skid plate completely cleaned up and then primed.

As well as the rear bumper cleaned, prepped and primed

Btw thank you mitch502 for the assistance

Also in the process, I was due for a new exhaust. The Dynomax was about done for. I wanted something a bit more tucked up underneath, so I picked up this chambered muffler and 2.5" tailpipe on eBay.

The next thing on the to-do list, and the main reason for taking off the bumper and skid plate, was to do a cut and fold. I was starting to get rust on the quarters, and didn't want the outside inside the back.

After making all necessary cuts.

Now the fold
