Best family expedition vehicle for 6

A van.

Seriously. You can't be a van for mass storage capabilities. On road, a minivan is super hard to beat practically (now from a standpoint of looks and stereotypes, that is another thing).

Off road, a 4x4 van will do what you want.

80 or 100 Series Cruiser.

You must not like the people (no matter how small) very much to put them in the rear seats (3rd row) of either platform. Those things are kind of like the rear seat in a Mustang/Camaro really for looks only. I never used the 3rd row in either 80 series I owned because they were all but useless.

Like the others, Suburban, Excursion or Van. That is what they were made for and they do it very well.

Disagree. I have had an 80, and we used the third row all the time. Not suitable for adults, but great for kids.

For six people, I think the Suburban or Excursion will be the only choice. For a trip into town, a 100 or Sequoia would be ok, but on a road trip, you will all need the space.

Both are great trucks and available in your price range. The Excursion can be made quite capable.
