I am having trouble translating your French, "there's no replacement for 300M shafts ..." :snorkel: Can you please help and provide an avoirdupois conversion? It can't be 300 meters, nor 300cm, nor 300mm, so what is it?
Rear New Generation D44 is 1.41" shaft diameter, 32 spline. Front New Generation D44 is 1.31" and 30 spline.
LOL, sure - translation: 300M is an alloy used in some aftermarket axle shafts. It's very resilient to high shock loads. To put it in context, we had a customer's axle twist 720* once before it snapped. When upgrading axles for a Dana 60 (or Land Rover Salisbury axle), one can get 1.5", 35-spline axles (unless you want 40-spline
Combine 300M with 1.5", 35-spline axle shaft and you have a shaft that can handle large tires and very high shock loads with ease.
