So that explains why 1stDeuce's NEW rotors were .010" out. And another reason to buy the rotors already cryogenically treated. I guess I will live with slotted but read they eat pads quicker since the slots are like a cheese grater and help remove the glazed pad surface. Yea I love my cummins 5 speed van. I just crunched the numbers from the way back from Florida and got 28 mpg. wow and it's brutal taking off in second.

Your van sounds awesome - what potential. I have never had any problems with Raybestos rotors. In fact, I just replaced mine last month, but I understand the desire for performance - I have Baer slotted cross drilled rotors on my sports car and the performance is amazing - I play in local PCA events. Having said that, my understanding is that Hawk Performance are very well respected.
