I have a 1977 Dodge campervan that I am currently working on. The seal where the fiberglass top meets the metal van body has become brittle and there are a lot of large chunks missing from it.
I have not been able to find another seal for it. Since it runs the entire perimeter of the van, I would imagine if I were able to find one, it would be pretty spendy.
Any ideas what else I could use to seal it while still retaining a little class? As you can see, the screw heads are exposed and I would like to pull the rest of the remaining seal off so I can figure out a uniform solution to get it sealed up and look half way decent.
