I went camping up there a month ago, it's a very nice spot. When we were there the flies were going crazy, you might want to stock up on bug repellent.

Sorry to resurrect a very old thread. I am planning on doing this run and a little dispersed camping later this summer. There are bears in the LPNF, but wondering if in this area I'll need to counterbalance my food. Thanks.
