Bilstein 6112/5160

I just got my new Bilsteins in. Looking at the instructions it says not recommended to use top clip location for supercrew trucks. Does anyone have these? What settings do you run? Is it best to not preload at all (keep the 6112 at 0" lift) and reuse my existing spacer kit to get the level since I already have it?

Are the springs progressive or linear? I know shocks are digressive.

Would love to hear some thoughts.
Truck is a 2012 F150

For your truck:
"The 6112 coilover assemblies even feature adjustable ride height settings using snap ring system, allowing you to set your truck at 0", .6", 1.2", or 1.75" of front ride height to help you clear larger wheel and tire combinations while reducing your factory rake."

Is the strut length the same as the stock one? For mine the adjustment range is .75-2.5" and the strut is a little longer than stock.

At any rate, I wouldn't use your spacers. If you want 1.75" lift then I'd suggest using the 1.2" setting with a smaller spacer in addition. And I'd find out why they say not to use the top clip for supercrews.
