Blue Sea Fuse Block in the Engine Compartment?

Just an FYI for those hooking up radios to these. Depending on what other accessories you have running through the fuse block you may get interference through your radios. Its always best to run CBs, HAM radios and other comm. equipment straight to the battery.

That's why I'm using the grounded model, to get dedicated pos and neg for my CB and future 2m. Its also going to power a work light, inverter, and a few other things. Here's to hoping that the inverter doesn't interfere with the comms.

Edit: I don't think there will be interference- right now my CB is tapped into a cig lighter wire, and it's as clean as can be.

Should be fine.

My Jeep has a huge PDC with a plethora of fuses and relays under the hood.

My Truck has an even bigger one.

Both are covered, so it's really no different than putting the Blue Sea unit under the hood.
