Bonding to FRP panels?

I've gotten myself into a box truck conversion and the box is made from 3/8" FRP panels. There arnt any ribs to mount anyting to on the inside so I want to mount 2x2 wood batons to the inside of the box for insulation and to mount cabinetry to. My question is, does anyone have experience with FRP panels and what is the best adhesive to use? Should I use the FRP cement that you can get at the big box stores, or should I use somehing like Sikaflex 252? Or should I bolt the batons though the FRP? Thanks

Depending on the strength you think you need, I would use Sikaflex 252 or 11FC.
252 has the highest tensile but is more expensive, prep is much more critical and the bead needs to be thicker to allow for differential thermal expansion.
11FC is easier and cheaper and due to higher elongation before break can be a thinner bead. It would be my choice.
Strength comes from high surface area.
