Before buying parts i suggest that you show all the rust problems of this G on this forum and on the other forums. They are a lot of 460 owners who have done a restauration and can tell you the do ´s and the don't do ´s. There is rust on the usual places but more intense and on others.
The gas engine is not bad but slurps a lot of gas. But a diesel conversion is very costly and sometimes turns bad if done by the wrong people.
