Looks interesting, though better than attaching to the nearside slider would be to pass a couple of straps over the roof and attach them to the chassis. Gives much better leverage. And you don't have to worry about the slider ripping off if the vehicle tries to roll.

Yes, this was mentioned as an option from Tom. However, last time he tried it his window would not roll up and his door jam was squeezed too hard.

Hmmm...I guess it depends on the vehicle. I've righted them using that method without issue.
I guess it comes down to which you're more worried about, that or flying sliders. ;)
