California Coast Trip

Just got back from our California Coast trip. We hit up Solvang, Pismo, Oceano Dunes, San Luis Obispo, Hi Mountain Ridge, Pozo and Gaviota State Beach (we never made it up to Prewitt Ridge because of the flies) We had a great time! It was nice meeting fellow expeditionportal members along the way (Guy and Blair) It sucks to be home in triple digit heat

I'm glad you guys had a fun trip and I'm looking forward to the pics and writeup. I couldn't make it out Thursday night, since I was busy packing till really late (I forgot that we had our ultrasound appointment on Thursday, so that took up a chunk of my packing time).

You know what... at first i thought it was just like towed out there or driven and parked... but when we left we actually saw it in the water. I was pretty surprised. They didn't take it too far out.. .i think the BLM would have gotten upset and fined them for dumping too much oil into the ocean. lol The rig was pretty beat. Definately not restored. It was neat though for sure.
