Camp Champ - Full Kitchen in a box

Selling them for that kind of dough would be the issue

hell with that. I'd sell them a lot cheaper than that and still consider it a decent profit for how easy and inexpensive it is to build. It's 2 sheets of plywood and some clever cutting and a few hardware bits. Wouldn't cost $200 to build and that's paying retail for the materials.

I have a friend that's interested in such a thing, he's mostly concerned about his family bugging out of the SanFran area after the next big earthquake. If I can get him to pay the costs I'd build it for him for free just to proof it out, get a feel for how long it would take and cost. And get promo pics out of it.

see my woodworking link in my sig. Building such a chuck box would be easy for me. Question is can I price it low enough to sell well, but still clear enough to be worth my time (which I don't value very high, I've got more time than money these days).

Seems to me I have seen the same thing in an old popular mechanics magazine..... Free plans ring a bell?
