I don't believe it, but I'm very excited...:wings:...About an awning!! haha!
I ordered the larger of the two sizes. Fernando was great to deal with on the phone and answered all my dumb questions.
Got an email that it should ship today.
It'll be great to have in the heat of a San Diego summer. My wife is very prone to getting overheated, though she is slight of build and
fairly in-shape (we joke that she has no sweat glands...haha), but also great when we make our sierra's trip this winter and our Lost
coast/Mendecino trip mid-winter 2010, to keep the rain off our heads.
I also have 3 small, white daughters that seem to have absolutely no Melanin in their skin, and consequently, burn
very easily, so it'll be great to have a big enough spot for them to spread out their toys and play...:sport_box...when we make
our bi-monthly trip to fiesta island.
Most importantly, is that I do about 7 shows building sets and props for my wife's high school drama program, which is very grassroots and
low budget, which means that my workshop is generally outside in the heat or rain. You can bet that I'm going to pull my jeep right next to the theatre to deploy the Uber-Awning on build days (about 40 per school year) come september. :ylsmoke:
I'll post up some pics when I get it mounted
