FWIW, I have a norcold(Engel) 60qt for sale in SoCal if anyone is interested. Fridge works great, just too much for 2 people so I downsized. Looking for $350, comes with 2 baskets, DC/AC cables and the Engel locking 12v socket. Pm for pics

The more that I look at this 43 qt Edgestar the bigger it gets... I'll give it a good tryout but I'm thinking, at this point, that I should have sprung for the additional money to get a smaller unit.

Enjoy!

removed seats and mounted fridge. going to make a flat area for the dogs on the other side. much more room that i thought i would have.

the drivers seat is all the way back and still can access the fridge easily

Good deal. I really like these fridges, I have only seen a couple of them in person, but they are very slick for the price. Still very stoked on the Dometic I scored otherwise I would have dropped the $ for one myself. So very impressed with the refrigeration system in use in these fridges (Dan Foss swing motor). In the field, in crazy heat (120*) it was freezing our food on a med setting and we were able to keep the single deep cycle at 12.0 + amps with 2 x 40 Watt Solar Panels. Efficient and useful, great combo.

Here is my BRAND NEW Edgestar 60QT mounted in my Tundra!

Fits perfectly in my custom made unit.

Went through a ton of trouble building this setup, and now that its all set up i am having the low voltage cutoff issues everyone is talking about, on a BRAND NEW unit! Arggg

Contemplating replacing it with an Engel rather than messing with the circuitry! Not impressed with the unit!

Just noticed another 63 on OBD so I ordered it up. $300. Hopefully nobody else beat me to it... Looking forward to having a small chest freezer to supplement the single door fridge/freezer in our 5th wheel "home". And it'll get used camping too, when we take the RTT instead of the TC. :)
Fingers crossed... :)

Just ordered a 43 quart from open box direct for $319.00 shipped, got an email that said it would arrive by next Monday, fingers crossed. Went back to look at OBD and they had the notify me when available tab up, so I must have some good luck right now, first time I've looked in months. Maybe I should go buy a lottery ticket!

*Edit: Just looked again to satisfy my curiosity, they're available!
