4GB (2x2GB) for 24" iMac for $67.99 with free shipping: Link to Crucial website. Sold!

Cheers,
Graham

It took me about ten minutes to unplug everything, vacuum off lots of dust that had accumulated on the vents at the bottom of the computer, install the memory and get things put back together. Generally the computer seems to work slightly faster with 4GB than 1GB, especially iPhoto.

Cheers,
Graham

just bought 4gb for my MBP from Crucial. $70 shipped!

Aperture is running much better now. :)
Scott two dumb questions,

1. What is involved in adding memory to a MBP?

2. How are you liking Aperture?

1. Shut down, remove battery, remove three screws holding down a cover, remove old memory, insert new memory, reinstall cover, fire it up. Really easy :)

2. I love Aperture. Why? Mostly because I do very little post capture processing and I have over 100,000 images to catalog, search and sort. Aperture is a wonderful organization tool, yet has just enough post processing HP to suite my needs. I have never used Photoshop.
