BTW, my 2005 Express 3500 Extended 6.0L had the G80 locker. The later Stablitrak units usually did not. Easy to retrofit the G80 as that rear end was widely used and in junkyards everywhere

So did the 6.0 get 18-20 mpg? I ask because I am about to purchase one, my hunch is with right maintenance and lubes and a K&N filter cold intake may take it up a notch.

I drive a 98' G3500 any difference in the new school say 2005-2007 range? (Yeah she is tired at 325k) and I am tired of cooking my coconuts in summer.
