Thanks for showing our local ski slopes. I ski in La Parva (we also got an appartment there) since 30 years .... very nice shots. You definitely need to see the rest of the country , from north to south (Patagonia), it has a lot to offer.... cheers

Here are my shots ... http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/showthread.php?p=498725#post498725

Thanks JP! La Parva is a great ski area. I have travelled Chile from Santiago north and now want to do a southern trip the next time down there. I am always there though in Septmember and don't know how fun it would be seeing Patagonia that time of year. What do you think? There are several other ExPo members from Chile that I've talked to on here, mostly from Santiago. It would be cool to do a little meet and greet down there next year.

4sure :victory: , anytime , I'm also from Santiago, in fact I live pretty close to where the roads starts to enter the curved crazy road that takes you to Farellones , La Parva , Colorado, Valle Nevado.

If you go down south in September it might be too rainy (ideally December tru March) , but still enjoyable since the nature is like Northwest US ,Canada ... I skied this past September in Pucon (500 miles South of Santiago) and we had wonderful climate. Further down (other 700 miles down) to the "real" Patagonia, you'll find snowed roads and colder climate , but then agian, its the adventure spirit that drives us ...

Ha ha, well thanks guys, I definately try not to take it for granted but its not all as great as it seems sometimes. I make big sacrifices in other areas to have this life style and is primarily the reason I'm a 34 year old happily engaged dude. No regrets though, no regrets! :D

Fixed it for you. Congrats!
