Randy,

Great picture of the male pyrrhuloxia. I love bird shots. :victory:
That is an impressive photo.

...however, I didn't know what the hell you were talking about until your last sentence mentioned BIRD. And what's the botanical name for the "thing" the male pyrrhuloxia is standing upon? :)

Haha, yeah, it is a weird name for a bird! ;-) It's standing on a dead cholla skeleton, just the woody support tissue really, not a true skeleton in the purest sense. :D

Randy,

Excellent photos!!

Looks like your Taco is really coming along, a shower set up and sleeping tent--nice!!! A much easier set up and break down.

See you and Linda on the trail again~~~

So Chris, where are your photos of this trip?!?! Always interested to see your photos eye version of the wild outdoors :sunflower

Thanks :) I posted 11 pics on page 3, but that's all I can get to right now.

Curious, has anyone gotten any poison oak?

Both Brett and Myself got some on our legs. A very mild case and its almost gone already, nothing like before.

Curious if anyone else got it? Hopefully not!

none here either. I got loads of insect bites though...

Hm, makes one wonder if there might be something growing on the seats in your truck:elkgrin:
