Yes, I purchased from my friend in Cali. I have not done a title transfer as I do not plan on keeping due to sell.

No, its not illegal. Thanks for looking out for me tho. Nothing wrong with helping a friend get some money for a car and me selling for them. I dont have to do a title transfer until i register in my name, that is if i was going to keep the car. Also, if you have a dealers license you dont have to do a title transfer in every single car you purchase if you are not keeping them.
