Awesome trip report!! Thanks for the pics!

That Castle is really cool. I wish I would've known about it when I took my trip!

May I ask what your average MPG was for the trip? I just picked up a dodge donor truck. Planning to put a 12v 6BT in my suburban.
I'm hoping it will double what I get with my 7.4L.
Thanks. I`m not to sure yet on my mpg. My speedometer reads correctly, but my odometer is still way off.
I was kinda of checking from the map miles to when I filled up, and was estimating about 18-22mpg.
I want to get a GPS to help my mpg be accurate.
Depending on what tires you want, will depend on want diff gears to run.

I have 4.11s with an gear vendor overdrive, 35" tires, and it works great.
But I wouldn`t want to run just the 4.11s and 35", maybe 3.90s and 35".

Thank You to the Moderator that put my trip :victory:in the right place.

I really wish I could go on a real EXPEDITION like some of these other people get to, maybe someday.
I told my wife, when we retire, get ready to live out of the back of the Dodge.

That is a great swap, It is what I would have done if I had more than my wife right now.
If you ever come back to Colorado, let me know, and I will try to help you out on other cool places to visit.

Go Fast Games from the Royal Gorge bridge last year.

Coming soon, the male Tarantula`s start crossing the roads looking for mates sometime in August - late September. We saw about 7-8 tarantula`s when driving on Hwy 50 from Canon city to the Royal Gorge.

They have B.A.S.E. jumpers jumping all weekend, and bungee jumpers also.
I plan on doing the Bungee jump next year, I heard the cost is $400, but it is one chance in a life time thing to do.

This is the worlds tallest bungee jump, a total of 800 feet down before coming back up.

Thank you. Colorado is great, I was born and raised here thats why it is so hard to ever leave.
I would like to see other countries, but we have so much here in the USA to explore, I don`t have time to go much anywhere else, maybe someday.
There is still a lot of Colorado I haven`t seen.

Great report, A lot of fantastic pics! It's scary how often fires are not put out lately!

I know, why can`t lazy *******`s put out there fires?
My wife was a fire fighter in Arvada, Co. for about 6 years.

Oh! by the way, I saw Bill Burke at the Toyota Rally/swap meet this weekend here in Lakewood.
Must be nice to have a job like his.
Hey Funrover, when ever you want to go wheelin, just email me, I have all kinds of time off right now:sombrero:
