Colorado Trail and San Luis Peak 6.23-6.24.23

Towards the end of June 2023 I headed out to bike a short section of the Colorado trail (missed the trail on part of the section I was looking to ride) and to hike one of Colorado's 14er's San Luis peak.

Start of the section of the Colorado trail I was looking at riding (would love to ride the whole trail). Came across two other riders while on the dirt road, one I'm assuming was riding the Colorado trail and knew where he was going and the other was a lady out for a ride waiting for her husband to catchup.





















After riding the section of trail/road I was on, I was back at my vehicle for a quick lunch before heading off to find a campsite around the trailhead for San Luis peak.

San Luis peak is probably one of the easiest 14ers I've hiked as well as being one of the more remote ones I've been back to. Great east hike.
