Custom camp trailer

Up for sale is a custom off-road trailer built by myself and my dad to tow behind a Jeep XJ I used to have.

Bed - 1986 Chevy stepside with jeep flat style fenders added. Approx 6.5ft x 50.25” box. Original boards for the wood bed were replaced with marine grade plywood.

Frame - is custom 3/16” box tubing with some of the original supports from the bed.

Suspension - 3500lb axle with electric brakes. 5x4.5 jeep wheels with 265/75r16 general grabber tires (near new). Springs are OME XJ rear leafs (sprung under) with Napa shocks.

The trailer will come with two Lock n Roll articulating hitches, one fixed and one adjustable.

Trailer could use some touch up from all the rock chips. Rust is only on the surface. The sides of the bed have been lined with a cheaper Rhino type liner. The kayak rack will not come with the trailer.

Good looking old trailer for a DIYer. I won't comment on your asking price but rather how you arrived at your asking price?
Based on similar trailers similar to yours, maybe what it costs to build a new one less some for the condition and difference or on some other basis?

I have a trailer I might sell, or swap, or whatever. Thanks.

Mostly based on the time I have into it. Will I get my time out of it? Probably not.

Plus I’m not in a hurry to sell and have no need to sell it.
