This trailer is a David Bradley, or a ben hur trailer. It was most likely built around 1946-1949. It is all steel and super heavy duty. It measures 4x6, with 13" sides. Has stake pockets all the way around, and a nice tailgate. This is not to be confused with a M100, M416, Or bantam. These were sold by Sears and Roebuck catalog shortly after WW2.
surprisingly, It has a small amount of rust, and very few dents.
I have owned this trailer for 6-7 years. This fall I removed the original axle and replaced with a new 3500lb dexter axle. The lug pattern is 5 on 4.5. I then added spidertrax wheel adapters to bring the bolt pattern to Toyota 6 on 5.5 to match my land rover.
The wheels are 2000 era 4runner aluminum, once again to match my land rover. Tires are 275/75/16 BFG A/T KO.
Shortly after, we switched from the Land Rover to a much larger 4x4 van, and the trailer is now too small to be seen behind the van when towing.
The Tongue is original to a 1950s backyard mechanics weld job. It works, but needs work.
The fenders are obviously not original.
It is currently pulled with a 1 7/8" ball. there is no jack, though it is very light (475lbs overall) and easily moved by hand.
Basically, this is a super cool project trailer that can be used as-is for around town stuff or modified for heavy duty use. Selling for the cost of the new axle wheel adapters, and wheels.
