Dedicated Snow Tire

We're having a pretty poor snow year. La Nina always does this to Northern Utah. Can you share a general location? Looking to get in some late winter and spring skiing since I'm just getting my rig up and travel worthy. Between a busy 9 to 5, a minor surgery, and very hit and miss snow it just hasn't happened, but such is life. That area looks awesome for cross country which is what my wife and I like to do together. Your plates say Montana but that is a BIG state!
Missoula. we have had pretty warm weather the last week so lots of melting snow. I am sure up high there is still good snow.

Agreed.

The only other debate would be studless or studded.

We went with studded.
These are hands-down the best snow tires I've ever had the pleasure of running.
(The studs are even directional! lol)

The ones we have are:
285/75/16 E-rated.
Definitely get these. I have nordfrost tires and they are amazing as well. I used them in -45°c in the backcountry and they performed amazingly.
