Ok, a 130CC is officially on my lottery car list. Along with a Lotus Elise, an Exige, Subaru STI (x2, gravel and tarmac), a RR Sport Supercharged, a Bowler Wildcat and a D90. :)

Doug- it is an official G4 130 rack direct from LR (SD most likely...)

The LE was a 40k mile truck and the story I got was a theft recovery- after it went airborn and hit a pole. Didn't know aluminum could stretch so far:)

I just have to ask. What makes these so special that they cost in the 100K range? It's a long-wheelbase four door truck. I can see how it would be good for expeditions on rough roads and relatively open off road terrain, etc. It's not something you see everyday. But in practical terms, you could buy a brand new four door Duramax 4x4 truck for half of this and have a vehicle that could outperform it in every way in terms of load carrying, power, comfort, etc.

The thing that demands a premium price is what it takes to get one here and the fact that you cannot "shop it" like you can a run of the mill vehicle such as a duramax. With that said, I don't think they are typically worth 6 figures. I happen to have my personal truck on ebay now and it has a reserve thats much lower. Sorry, that is quite a selfish plug:cool:

The real bummer of it is to see the dealership prices in other countries that make these rigs right in line with a tacoma or f-150 :(

I agree.

These are for rich people who HAVE to have something different than an American truck. Otherwise, I don't see how they can do anything better than an American truck. You could get a darn nice F-250 diesel for that price, and have enough left over for a sports car, big RV trailer, or whatever.

simple really- supply/demand.
After selling it, I bought a Power Wagon, used w/ 3k miles from Chrysler, added a Flippac, all new steering components, 37's, nice bumper, etc and have less than half the money in it, 8" more wheelbase(not quite as good, but marginal at this length, but more manuverable), leather, nav, sway disconnects, F&R lockers AND 8yr/80k warranty from the manufacturer(if they stay in bussiness)- not quite as rare, way more dependable, and only 400hp, ummm, let's think about this a minute :wings:

They do NOT cost $100000. Just because some stupid person pays that, does not make it right. You could easily have a nice one for less than $20k landed. As "as new" one will obviously cost more, but nowhere near that kind of price.

Ahhh, that's the "PW on 37's"

I was thinking about a "real" PowerWagon :)

KAA .... has "dibbs" on Jordan's quad cab Dodge when she's done with it.
