Wait till you buy a house and the pillows move in, then you really have no money.:Wow1: BUT I did order a trick new part to the tune of $1700 and a 5-6 week delivery time.....can you guess what it was?

Haha very true! You SOB, it's either another AR, 1911, or you bought bumpers.:Wow1:

haha, not another AR, I'm set on those. If you count my work one, I'm up to 3. I did recently buy an AK, but for the guessing game, no new firearms. Since I got a request for the gun porn, here's a shot of my work piece...

nice mod thread...

got any more info or a link to a thread on that Scrambler? I'm doing a frame-off on mine right now..

Thanks you! No build thread on the Scrambler. My Dad, brother, and I built it years ago before I had a computer. I can say the best mod we did was Howel Fuel Injection. It's not too hard just time consuming. It runs great even today, never misses, always starts even after sitting, very reliable. Love that Jeep! Good luck with yours, its a great project!

Come next pay check I'm starting to piece together my regear (this is your fault Matt!!). Can't really fork out the $$ for everything at once, so it will be a slow process. Starting with the rear Nitro 4.56's, then the front, then master install kits (F&R), then install. Do you all think I need the master install kits?

Finally got rid of my "deer mod" last month. Pretty easy to take the bumper off and replace, only took an hour or so all while packing for Death Valley. I lost my push bar though, it took most of the deer at 60mph, so I don't have any of my spot lights/HID's which sucks and scary without on the back-roads. Just an excuse to make a light bar over Xmas!

Love watching this build I wanted a Tundra soooo bad after my dad bought an 06 Double Cab. Fell in love with the Truck and look very heavily at the acces cab like you have but finding a 4wd was difficult and now with a baby on the way that option is dead.. LOL I guess after Im burnt out with my Cherokee it's back to another 4runner which I do love.

Love the stock front bumper on these trucks plenty of ground clearance and light weight.

Nice! No more talking tundra! LOL! To answer your question yu posted in sept about the master install kit, yes, you need the master install kit. Since, I know it's been either 30K since they were replaced or are the original bearings. LOL!

Hey Derek,

I am wondering about the softopper that you had. I solt my hard canopy and have been interested in the topper. Do you feel that the topper for the 05 Taco fit well. I dont like the way the one for first gen looks larger than truck. The one on yours looks like it fits the way I would want. Leaving lots of room for a rack over the top of it. Your truck looks good man.

Here is a pic of my previouse mods.
