Do it all trailer build.

For the center caps, find a sign company with a table top laser
They can cut a tight tolerance hole in the center.

I use one at work and they are great for making templates and holes in acrylics and plastics.

Color is close enough. And. $500 cheaper than powder.

I might take a foot out of the tongue. Time will tell.

Fenders should arrive today or Monday.

Sits nice with the Hummer.
I would drive it awhile before shortening the tongue.
Easier to back up longer.
The color looks good!
Looking forward to seeing it with fenders.
What type of cover are you going with?

Probably none. If I get the urge, ill build something out of aluminum. I had intended for this trailer to be aluminum but balked at the cost. Next time I might forgo the rail and frame and build a box out of aluminum on a steel frame.

Sent her off for bedliner today. That's the last big hurdle. Fenders will install this week with lights and then its ready.

I would do like Mark suggests, leave it longer for now.
You may have the urge to install a tounge box to hold bungies, straps, cargo net, wheel chocks, etc. in the future.
That's prime real estate in front of the tub.

I wouldn't want mine any shorter.

Back from Bedliner. And Manleys fenders arrived. Worth every penny. My apologies to josh! They're that nice.

Very nice indeed. I'm at the planning stage of building a similar trailer. How did you determine the axle set back? I didn't know if there is a rule of thumb and I noticed that they are not typically centered. If there is a method to the madness, I would love to know it! Your fab skills are enviable.

Rugged. Reliable. Ready.
Trailer build looks good Seth.

Also appreciate the call today, glad the fenders worked out.

:Wow1: Really nice!

Like those fenders being wider at the top, nice base to mount boxes or just lash bags on. Now it's usable space if needed.

Mine needs to be modified like yours! Thanks for the thread...:coffeedrink:
