Does this sound like parasitic drain?

Just got back from Sears, let them slow charge batt for 1 hour... They said it "tested" ok and now had a full charge. I tested it right there and found it was only at 12.5v after a 1 hour charge. I asked him what he though full was and he said 12.7 but then said 12.5 was "bottom of full" after I showed him my volt meter.

I'll drive on it for a few days and see what happens the second it goes back to 12.38 I'm going back for a replacement... I expect a fight considering how vague they have been up till this point about what it takes to replace the battery.

Bottom line is, test your new Sears batts on the day of purchase to be sure they are not stale and prepare for an endless amount of back an forth if you have a bad batt and want to use the warranty!

I'm about to warranty my diehard good at Sears. Did you go the San Bruno Sears?

I've done some more reading online about charging AGM batts and have found some suggestion that they are slower to fully recharge off the vehicle than a standard car batt if you're not running long distances. So I may need to do my own batt maintenance since the longest I usually drive is 15min 2x a day.

Anybody have a reccomendation for a decent, cheap, AGM capable trickle charger?
