I cannot thank Mike and Martyn enough! Turns out Martyn has the part i need and will be shipping it directly to me.

Martyn, thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to help me out.

MikeS... what can i say?! Outstanding customer service! Thank You for your efforts and extreme generosity.

If i can ever return the favor please dont hesitate! You guys made my Birthday today an exceptional one!! It's great to know there are still people like you two in this world.

I too have experienced the five star outstanding customer service commitment from both Mike S of Autohome and M&M at AT. I too damaged my Overland and they both went above and beyond my own expectations. This was exactly why I chose these products that these two respective companies purvey.

This type of exemplary commitment to customer service is truly rare in this day and age! But sooooooo refreshing when you need it and get it! They have more than earned my long term loyalty!!!

Did you get this fixed? If so I would love a full review sometime with pics!

Hopefully this weekend. It looks pretty simple really, just remove a few screws and remove the channel.. replace and reinstall screws.

I'll take a few pics of the process and post them up. Anything particular you wanted pics of? I'd be happy to share.

EDIT: You probably meant a review of the Overland RTT. :hehe: Silly me. I'll be happy to share my thoughts on it once i finally get to use it! :jumping:

Any pics would help of course, but pics of it open, closed and of the inside would be great! Glad you got it all fixed up!

I've met Mike S and we have a business relationship, Mike also recommended some good books to read.

I like John B's avatar of the car stacked with luggage on the roof.

That's all it takes, I'm easy.

lol.

The Autohome and Eezi Awn tents have a track system under the floor of the tent. You slide the hardware into the track and then mount it to the roof rack.

Very simple.

After all that... i ended up repairing my original part. I took some wood pieces, a vice, and rubber mallet to it and it's much better now.

The one Martyn shipped out looked to have gotten a bit damaged in shipping, it's usable but mine would be straighter (in center) after i got done.

Thank You guys again, if someone can use this piece it's stored for future use.

Wow looks a lot bigger on the inside than I had expected!

This is the Overland large 1.8 model. Said to have a king size mattress, it's very spacious and will serve me well for many years to come.

www.autohomeus.com or PM MikeS here, he'll be able to provide whatever you need.
