Downey Off Road???

Just got this from Downey.....

Downey Off Road Mfg. ceased operation on July 31, 2009.
There are ongoing negotiations with six different well known companies who are interested in continuing major portions of the Downey product line. You will no doubt find Downey products at one or more of those companies in the near future. We thank your for being a part of our 39 year history.

Update...

CV Unlimited in South Carolina sells the part. I spoke to a technician there, Larry. He knew exactly which part number I needed off the top of his head, and set me up with Oren in their sales department to take my order.

They sell them two to a pack for $110 plus $12 shipping to Houston, so I will have a spare. They go out today and Oren said to call him back tomorrow for a tracking number. GREAT customer service so far!

I sure hope it is the right part. If it is not, I can return them and get a full refund, minus shipping.

I'll keep you posted.
