The tires are excellent in every type of weather or terrain. They are however even louder on the highway than the 7.3 diesel. I have had them on for about a year now so around 20,000 miles and they are pretty worn and will need to be replaced in the summer.

First impressions were of very soft side walls at 60 psi but 80 psi solved that issue. I do carry 3000 lbs in the bed of the truck and haul a heavy trailer so that will lead to faster tire wear.

If you have a lighter weight vehicle and plan on driving off road or in snow I know these tires would perform very well.

I could be wrong here but 60 psi sounds too be waaaay to much for the duratracs that are rated for max psi of 55 and most I have heard run them at 28psi.

My info came off the good year site. I think I was looking at 285 70 r17

After more digging this is the conclusion I have come up with.
It would seem to be important to know what tire size and vehicle you are running when stating PSI. All the jeep guys run at 28 PSI The Toyota 120 guys run at 38 PSI.

Dura craps are the single worst tires I have ever owned.

2005 LJ on 33/12.50-15. Winch and bumper.

Cut two tires on one rock, through the tread block to the rim lip. Straight through the sidewall. While at walking speed bear hunting with the family. Junk!
