Electrical connector for aftermarket fog lights? (4th gen 4runner)

What's best practice for connecting aftermarket fog lights to a factory wiring harness? I have a factory switch and wiring harness installed from the old fog lights, I just need some help connecting my new lights that fit my new bumper into the old wiring harness.

On the light side, I have bare wires. On the truck side, I have the OEM Toyota push connector. I'd love to find something solderless and tool less. An Amazon link would be awesome. I liked the Deutsche connectors that came with my pillar lights, but you need a special tool to crimp those. Thanks for any help you can offer!

Go to the dealer and see if you can get a replacement plug for the fog lights or just google it to see if there is already an aftermarket one

If you have existing fog light connectors then you probably want these:

They are pigtails that mimic H10/9005/9006 bulbs. I just used them to wire up the ARB/IPF fog lights in my ARB bull bar. I had existing factory fog lights in the bumpers. I did not disturb the existing factory wiring, these let you mate to the factory harness. You will connect the bare wire side of these to your bare wires of the new aftermarket fog lights.

I will caveat that Tacoma at some point, 2012 I believe, went to an H11 bulb for the fog lights. Not sure which/if/when 4Runner fog lights were H10, H11 or otherwise. They make similar kits for other bulb types, though.

Doing a bit more research you may have H11 bulb in your original bumper.

Thanks, Dave. Exactly the kind of thing I was looking at, so nice to get some confirmation. I've disposed of the old bumper and fog light assembly, so I wasn't really sure what I was looking for.

What did you use to connect your new pigtail to your new fog lights? Just a classic lineman's splice, or something like this?
