i´m new here so first of all "hello from austria"
some of u may know me from clubfrontier.

i bought a VW T3 Syncro and prepared it for traveling and wanted to sell my D40.
long story short my dream ended on a cherry tree

so i kept my navara :)

custom winchbumper
custom rearbumper
OME lift with custom spacers, 3" lift overall
3" BL
315/75R16 Cooper STT
light bar on the stock roofrack
recaros

what i changed:

BFG ATs 295/75R16 for better mileage and hoping that the frontdiff will hold up now
replaced the stock roofrack with an african outback rack
added a safari snorkel
blacked out the grill
added LED surround lighting to the roofrack
and mounted a rooftent on to my topper

this is how it sits now

future plans:
custom drawer system in the rear
custom sparetyre-holder on the rear bumper
CB
larger fuel tank
dual batt setup
ac/dc converter
and some other stuff

should be done before may so i can test the setup except of the "other stuff" :sombrero:
i would like to visit the usa(cali, nevada, utah and arizona) and mexico from jan to june in 2011.

any comments appreciated.

Hey buddy! Welcome to ExPo. I'm glad you made it out of that wreck, that looked pretty bad.

The truck is looking fantastic! What brand of topper is that you have on there?

thx for the kind words

the topper is from roadranger.
i´m not a big fan of it, quality sucks and its overpriced. but it was the only one avaiable when i ordered mine.

yo emu! Glad you found EXPO! I've posted a pic or two of your truck on this site before. I'm glad you finally signed up. Due to the lack of parts in the US for our frontiers, we tend to drewl over garage made parts as if they were from another world.

Again, welcome aboard! Enjoy.

thx again:)

the STT is a great tire. and as soon as i find a way to make the front diff stronger i´m going to put them on again :smiley_drive:

but for now and especially for the kind of travelling i want to do, the ATs are the better choice.
plans for the next few weeks:

* removing the rear seats and installing a slideout for the engel-box on the drivers side. passenger side will turn into a flat space for my dog to chill :sombrero:

* preparing the rear bumper for the sparetiregate

i need to have the navara ready for shipping to the US before December.
and i´m still not sure if i want to travel with the rtt or build a custom removable camper similar to this
