Ever buy tires at Sam's Club?

the problem with buying tires at Sam's and Costco, they don't like to install non-factory sizes on vehicles. They will sell you the tires but won't mount them. I have 31's on my Dakota, recently test fit 32's at Discount. Sam's and Costco are $15.00 cheaper than Discount, when I talked to them about it, because those are larger than stock size and according to the book won't fit, they won't install them. Even though they can see that my truck is taller than stock and they will fit.

I just had Costco install 32's on 15 inch rims (neither stock for a Frontier) and they didn't bat an eye. The only question they asked was if I was sure they'd fit. I replied that since I was presently running 33's with no issue then I'm sure the 32's would be just fine.

Two hours later Stormy had new shoes.

They beat the online price estimate I put together as well as Discount Tire by 60$.

They're not selling seconds or inferior rubber.....remember they have the buying power of the worlds largest retailer behind them......

I've found better price and selection at Discount Tire. However, I realize they may not be very common up there in the Last Frontier, so it may be worth paying a few more bucks to get something that can be replaced or warranteed at any Wal Mart (and I'm assuming a Sam's Club tire can be warranteed at Wal Mart since they're both part of the same company.)
.

Walmart will service Sams club tires if there are not Sams Clubs around. But they do not carry all the same tires and you could be waiting a few days for tire to come in. Found this out when I tore a hole, big one, in the side of a 10 day old Goodyear Silent Armour in the UP of MI.

When I got home Sams replaced the tire, no questions. They did charge me for mounting, balancing and road hazard on the new tire. $20 on a $225 10 day old tire. Glad I had road hazard warranty. It's amazing what they call a road in the UP
