Expedition Trailer I just finished,... I purchased the small enclosed trailer (4'x5') and built the exo-frame. I also added the Roof
Top Tent.
I recently took it to Colorado for its first trip and it worked great.

Thanks for checking it out,...

Question. If you have water, and a pump, why not have gone with a hot water system that has a few more options?

I've only used my Zodi setup once, but quickly found that while it works, it's certainly less than ideal. However until I setup my electrical and water systems, it's a good affordable option for me. But the second those systems are in place, it's gone.

How tall is the trailer, it appears to be quite tall and a lot of weight at the top. Looks like a lot of quality work was done, and talent shown. I would be concerned about it tipping over though from the photographs. I may be looking at it all wrong, but it appears the tent is about 6 foot up with 20 gallons of water/fuel at the top and a tent. I would lower the front carrying rack. Not trying to knock your trailer, but possibly save heart ache down the trail.

Nice trailer. You seem to have it well setup and thought out. I too think it looks a little top heavy, but I would guess you are not going to do any serious off roading with it, so it will likely work out just fine.

Thanks for the info, I just had the zodi system laying around. I have done my research and now know all the options out there. I'm ready to start my next build now.

Thanks again

Thanks Skersfan
I agree, there is a lot of weight up top for the height.
I purchased the enclosed trailer and adder the exo-frame.
I have actually listed this trailer in the classifieds and have plans for my next build.

Thanks again,

Cody

It's the cargo conversion bug. It's the ultimate for the habitual tinkerer.
What ideas do you have for the next one?
Looks great. Very nice fab work.
I am sure the next one will be even better.
Jeff
