I'd like to see the crew do the TAT.

Me too!

Agreed - great way to end this series/season! Methinks it was a very wise choice not to go "over the heads" of the locals! Never a good idea to pi$$ off your local protection detail.... :)

While it wasn't the outcome we would have preferred, it was the right decision. I have a personal goal of completing the Darien one day and cooperating with the Senafront is mandatory as your ability to launch from the north or enter from the south will require their permission. We even had an offer to escort us to the Colombia border in the future, if we were to plan and receive permission to launch a Darien mission specific voyage.

Well that was a great season, truly. Hope the sponsors pony up so you can continue south and then to points beyond.

The filming, editing, etc keeps getting better each episode. Kudos

Me too! :D

Once again, great work guys! I have really enjoyed this season. Very anxious for next year. Could the Trans Canada trail be on the radar in the future? (After SA of course).

I don't know that anything is on or off the table beyond the light planning for 2016 thusfar. On a persona level, I'd love to do more in Canada and the Trans-Canada looks neat!

If any of you are going to be at Overland Expo East, please be sure to come say hello to Clay and I at the Equipt Expedition Outfitters booth. We'll have one of the XO 4Runners and Paul always has neat eye candy too. I'd love to meet you all!

Looking forward to meeting you guys!

Your AK series on YouTube has been an awesome motivating factor for me.
Love the work you guys are putting together and appreciate it greatly.

I want to thank the XO crew for putting together another great season. My favorite part of the expedition was when the young Mayan girl gave the 'thumbs up' after her surgery. I was overcome with emotion at that point. It was amazing how you were able to capture the raw emotion in that isolated village.

XO's Toyota sponsorship might be selling this Jeeper a Yota ;) but I still don't have that desire to cross multiple international boarders.

My wife is excited for me because ever since I saw the AK videos and started down this learning journey she has heard me talk about Clay, Scott, Jeff and Toby and everyone else. Then we see Kurt in the Central America videos. I had to replay one of the videos and show her who you were and that we might get to meet you guys at the East Expo. Lol...

She will be with me on Sat.

Kudos to Kurt for figuring out it was really smoke bombs and flares during the Episode 9 volcano hike! ... Had me fooled! :sombrero:

The James Bay Road up to Long Point, on James Bay (of the Arctic Ocean). Then the Trans-Taiga, which gets you further away, by road, from a town anywhere in NA (I think!). The Trans-Labrador up into the Northern East Coast. Much of this is open through the winter and that could include some epic ice road runs that would be pretty unique. Hit me if you can be up here, as I'm in Ottawa.

I think I went through Wednesday night withdrawal with not having a new episode of XO to watch. :)

You can always go way back to the North America season too. That's what I did, it is fun to see how far their hard work has taken them.
