16 Years on ExPo. Whoa!!
The ultimate MJ is Mario's from Adventure Trailers of course, if it hasn't been mentioned. The amount of miles on it is also staggering.. Someone post up some pics!

I would love to have a clean MJ someday as a weekend toy, probably one of my favorite trucks ever.

Not an expo rig, just my work, mud, rock, snow, plow, haul, truck. 1988, 4.0L, AW4, D60's, 38" swampers... Oh and only about 250,000 miles on the original drivetrain...

I'm swapping in the front 60 now so these are in progress pics.

Here's my MJ. Not exactly expo-ready yet, but I'm working on it. I was ready to buy Mario's old Snug Top camper shell, but we hit a snag. It still may be in the future.

That's it.. thanks johnnyc!

From looking at pics at the site now i seem to remember a discussion on the support pole design. I'll have to compare to Canback.. and see if they infact offer an MJ topper.

Nice MJ as well. :Wow1:

There aren't many of us out there with MJs, much less MJs that are dedicated to EXPO usage so I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread with pics of MJs that are set up for EXPO usage.

Even though I've been a member since 2008 I don't really post on here that often mainly because I don't feel that my rig is EXPO worthly yet. That being said my long term plans with the MJ are to continue evolving it into more of an EXPO vehicle. Hopefully a thread of EXPO MJs will give me some more ideas

Please post a few pics of your MJ and it's specs.

I'll start with my truck :coffeedrink:

'90 MJ blended with a '99 XJ
4.7L Stroker
Locked ft/rr
RK Longarms/SOA Rear
RigidCo Bumpers ft/rr
Frame stiffeners and sliders are in the worx

Future Plans to convert truck into more of an EXPO rig:
Manual Hubs
Snorkel
Softopper(ditch the tool box)
Winch
Light Force HIDs on the front bumper

I just got the truck back on the road in June so I don't have many pics of it off road yet.

I like this one for some reason

Shot of the late model XJ interior in the MJ. I am running a Kenwood flip out head unit with a Garmin Navigation add on. The Garmin unit has an SD card slot so I plan to add Topo maps later on.

Good day
so with this head unit the screen turns into your GPS right. Do you have to run a satellite receiver and how do you navigate the functions. I am assuming this works like my Garmin 60C.
I am liking this option so more info would be appreciated.

Waytec, there is remote GPS antenna plugs into the back of the GPS unit and is mounted on the front of my dash where close to the defrost vents. The Garmin GPS unit is built specifically for the Kenwood head unit so the Nav is an option on the head unit menu. It functions similar to an OEM nav unit in any vehicle.
