Any combo of flipping these around so they would work on a Ram 3500 single rear wheel?

Front and rear track at 92”. They run much nicer on the road then the multi piece wheels and discount tire was able to mount the tires for me. I never found a tire shop to work on the multi piece wheels.

335/80r20 MPT81 and wheel weight 179#

wheel is 59#
Hey Justin, these look great. I personally do not run spares, are you sticking to the 5 wheel minimum?

Well, it was a long shot. But worth a try.
Sorry Just Browsing… i missed your previous reply.
the air valves do not allow for TPMS but you can install TPMS with a band in the center of the wheel on the inside.

i went with 20x10 instead of 20x9 for a wider range of tire selection.

I really hope someone makes a little higher load rated 36-38" LT. I just am still not sure about running one at the load limit..... Might sway me to buy these at that point.

Nice trucks, but the white & red one is the best looking by far
thanks for the kind words.

I also ran the international MXT wheels like yours on my Topkick. These new wheels also come in 8x275 and are rated for 8000# ea.

Wehring - Just wanted to say it is great to see a person focused on finding a solution that works for themselves and is willing to go through the effort to offer it to others. Look forward to reading you have "sold out" and a second batch is in production.

Cheers

Wehring.

Being an expert on F450/550 wheels and tires, are there any other tire choices with the 5k+ weight rating that are better in the snow than the MPPT81? Seems there are a lot of benefits to using a rig like this but I’m worried about the snow performance of these military tires.

The cutoff is 4100# per tire. There is a Y in the road at 8200# on the rear axle. If you are at or under 8200# then you can run an LT bead tire. I have been especially impressed with Nitto trail grapplers. They balance with very little weight. Recently mounted five 37” tires and 3 took no weight. The other two needed 2oz on one and 3oz on the other.
If you are over 8200# then the MPT tire is required. I prefer the MPT81 over the Goodyear G275 for ride comfort. You may want to try siping the treads to provide better snow road traction.
I have been driving on cold roads for a few days and the truck has been surefooted with the MPT81s

Thank you for the kind words. The response from people needing a better super single solution has been strong and I am humbled to facilitate the solution. We are on our 3rd run and will place an order for the next run when I return from this “promote the wheel” tour of 5,000 miles on the road.

Man, you have to get the word out to Kodiak/Topkick guys! Wheels for super singles are the bane of our existence. There are not any good off-the-shelf options in 8x275 (I run modified Alcoa wheels).
