It has been over a year construction but today we hauled out our flatbed camper and put it on our 20 foot flatbed Isuzu NRR (19500lb GVWR)

Still 9 feet of flatbed left for toys!

Very nice, what sort of 'toys' do you plan to put on the back?

Yamaha WR250R dual sport motorcycles and sometimes snowmobiles (at least to transport them from one location to another...not thinking of taking this vehicle in heavy snow).

We have a little build info here on expedition portal and a complete build thread on the truck camper portion of rv.net.

what sort of weight did it end up being and how close to your estimate
was thinking about doing something similar but figure the hard top sleeping space with room to move on a FG649 would be getting close to max height
either way im really impressed with the way its turned out

I don't know the weight yet (have to get the camper licensed before I can drive it to scales because in USA WA state campers have a plate). I would guesstimate based on build materials we are in the range of 3500 pounds dry. I have not added the sofa or inverter yet.

It is pretty tall on this Isuzu NRR. We are just under 12 feet high (legal limit is 14 feet). The inside of the camper has 8 feet of headroom and the sleeping area you can sit upright on the mattress which is nice.

What do you plan to use for steps into the camper's entry door?

We bought a Little Giant four step ladder from Home Depot Online. It is not like regular stepladders. The top bar folds down so it is not in your way when using it like stairs and the rake is such that each step is not occluded by the next. It is perfect!
