Finally ready...

...to start installing a dual battery system in my '07 Silverado Classic. I'll be using Blue Sea terminal fuse blocks and fuses to protect the house and starting batteries. My plan is to run the following accessories off the house battery:

  • ARB 50 QT fridge/freezer in extended cab with back seat removed

  • Mounted in bed of truck...Blue Sea 6-fuse circuit block w/negative bus, 2 Powerwerx 12V Cigarette Lighter Socket , and 1 Powerwerx 12V USB charging port

What size terminal block fuses should I be using at each battery?

Many thanks, in advance.

Fuse to protect the wire & circuit panel, not the loads. I would run 4AWG cable from battery terminal to fuse panel, and protect it with a 100A fuse because the blue sea panel is 100a max

Thanks, Jeegro. I've read where some guys select a fuse with an amperage slightly below the max of whatever they're trying to protect. Would that make sense here with, say, an 80a or 90a fuse?
