I get the feeling that Shackle reversal vs non shackle reversal is one of those issues with TLCs that is like Free Wheeling hubs and the oil or grease in front swivel housing are to series Land Rovers. ;) The debates never end!

I was going to say it could be a long discussion. What I noticed with short wheel base trucks is it makes the front end much more laterally stiffer and doesn't wander as much as at least OEM setups. That said just changing out your bushings and going to a beefier shackle could probably do the same. If I were in the place to do it easily, I would probably do it, but I probably wouldn't spend too much time worrying or focusing on it, I think you are fine either way. This is the first though in the years of this debate I've heard about the hopping issue.. I've wheeled with many shackle reversed vehicles and never noticed it before personally... :confused:
