took a trip this weekend to Daniel Boone State Forest...started at Cave run lake....then down to Red River Gorge area and did the Tunnel....then south to Laurel Lake...then back north to Natural Bridge and back to Cave run lake area for free camping...

unfortunately all but 2 campgrounds out of 7 I visited were closed....the free camping near cave run didnt have any facilities but it did have a nicer view than the others...I did stay at Bee Rock campground as I was 2 hours away from the free camp and after hours of driving that day and discovering the campsites at Laurel were closed the Pup and I pulled in at 8:30 pm..ate a sammich and crawled into the bunk friday night...saturday I worked my way back enjoying some fire roads but was BUMMED that none of the rock formations were visable from the roads...and they didnt allow pets on the trail (pretty common)

Next time I go down I will take the motorcycle and no pets...ride some forrest roads without worry of busting up my truck or getting stuck...

Free campsite and Gotham...goofy dog had a blanket by the fire...and he lays down in the bushes!! Dork

Got down to 20* the second night...condensation from the Cpap and us breathing made the entire inside FROSTY!!! Deffinitly nothing to be done about it...the little buddy propane heater adds to the condensation and the tent retains almost no heat once it's off....and this morning the heat rapidly melted the frost...which made it rain on us..towel to the rescue!!!

This week is a 42in curved led for the front grill...I went to the Dayton Ohio offroad show and talked to alot of folks with windshield mounted LED bars and they say they are often timid to turn them on for fear of blinding oncoming cars..

The camper setup still looks great. We use a heater buddy in our Flippac and we noticed the condensation as well from the moisture it creates. However, opening the tops of the windows allowed us to still keep it warm but let out the moisture. Fine line between having it open too much or not enough.

I also use the little buddy heater!!

Ive noticed the condensation and typically its not nearly as bad as 2 adults (one sleeps with a CPAP) and 2 dogs...typically we will do some kind of cross ventilation and even run a 12 volt trucker fan)...and the occasional towel wipe if its dripping on someones head (typically its my great dane...no idea why its always him...)

Just camped this weekend solo...it rained almost all night....condensation wasnt too bad...but the material doesnt breathe at all..its waterproof so I didnt need to have a rainfly..
